Abstract

This work presents the algorithmic variations of a 3D motion estimation method which make it suitable to 3D view registration. Important characteristics are that the method is suitable for unsupervised 3D registration and that texture information can be incorporated with beneficial effects on the overall 3D registration performance. A peculiarity of the method is that it operates in the frequency domain.
